PAYBACKS                                   

You've finally had enough of the put downs from the most conceited football player in the school.  Now it's time to retaliate!  At 2:00 p.m. every day at school this particular nin-come-poop is on his way to the football field when you leave your last class that's located on the 7th floor of the building that he passes everyday.  You plan to drop a large water balloon on his head and still have time to run before the balloon ever hits him.

You have determined that the balloon will fall 64 feet.  He walks at a rate of 2 feet per second.  There are flower pots on the ground running the length of the building all along the side of the building spaced 2 feet apart.  You will be standing directly above a flower pot on the 7th floor.  You will drop the balloon as he walks by one of the flower pots before the one you are standing above.  How far is that flower pot from the one you are standing above? .......Remember, you want the balloon to hit him after you leave!  Good Luck!
